Every night a friend stays using your code = 1 night on your Member account. We text you as your balance grows.
Earning nights
1. How nights are earned. Nights post only after your friend completes their stay and checks out. Cancellations, no-shows, and refunded stays do not earn nights.
2. Qualifying stays. The stay must be booked direct (our website, phone, text, or front desk) using your personal code, and must be 2 nights or longer. Bookings through Expedia, Booking.com, or any third-party site do not qualify.
3. Friend discount. Your code gives friends 10% off the room rate. One code per booking; it cannot be combined with any other discount, promo, or special offer.
4. Your Member rate. After your first completed referral, you are a Rising Star Member: your own direct bookings get the 15% Member rate — for as long as you are an active Member.
Redeeming rewards
5. Free-night rewards. A free night covers the room and the cleaning fee — all-in, no hidden charges. Rewards are subject to availability and must be booked at least 14 days in advance.
6. When you use your nights. Earning never changes — a friend's night is always 1 night, every month of the year. What changes is the price of spending them. May through November, rewards cost the standard amount. December through April is our high season, and rewards cost double:

Example: you have 50 nights. Book your LaPlaya 4-nights-pay-2 anytime May–November and it costs exactly 50. Want it in March instead? That's 100 — keep referring, or enjoy it in summer.
7. Extend your stay — 20% off. Want more than your reward covers? Add as many paid nights as you like around a reward stay — say you've earned 2 free nights but want the whole week: stay 7, pay 5. As a Member, extension nights get 20% off the room rate — our deepest discount anywhere, and it exists only here: it applies solely to nights attached to a reward stay and cannot be combined with any other discount. Because it's all one stay, there is no additional cleaning fee — your reward already covers it. Taxes are calculated on the discounted amount, so you pay less tax too.
8. LaPlaya rewards. LaPlaya stays have a 4-night minimum. The unit sleeps 4 (queen bed + twin beds). Golden Star and HSH Superstar Member rewards can be taken at LaPlaya or as hotel nights — your choice.
Your account
9. Nights are personal — rewards are giftable. Night balances and tiers have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be applied to stays completed before you joined. But an earned reward is yours to give: redeem a free night or a LaPlaya stay as a gift for a friend or family member — just book it through us in their name. Gifted stays follow all the same rules and may not be sold.
10. Your own stays. Your code is for friends — bookings under your own name use your Member rate and do not add nights to your own account.
11. Expiration. Nights stay valid for 12 months after your most recent referral activity. Any new referral resets the clock on your whole balance.
12. Balance questions. If you believe your night balance is off, let us know within 60 days of the stay in question and we will review it with you.
Creators & influencers
13. Creator track. Content creators have a separate creator agreement with its own reward schedule. Any posted content must follow FTC disclosure rules (#ad).
The program & the property
14. If the program ever ends. If we end or materially change Sunrise Rewards, every Member already enrolled keeps full benefits for an extra 12 months from the announcement — you can keep earning nights and redeeming rewards that entire year. Nobody loses a balance they've been building.
15. Membership decisions. We reserve the right to remove any Member from the program and to decline any booking, at our discretion.
16. Respect the property. Abuse of the property, vandalism, or not following hotel rules may affect a Member's nights and rewards. Hollywood Sunrise Hotel reserves the right to make the final decision.
17. Hotel rules apply. By accepting a personal code, you confirm you have read and agree to the rules and regulations of Hollywood Sunrise Hotel and of LaPlaya, our partner property.
The fine print
18. Eligibility. Members must be 18 or older. One Member account per person. Hotel staff, owners, and their immediate family are not eligible.
19. Fair play. Fake bookings, self-referrals under another name, or any gaming of the system voids the Member account.
20. Taxes. Any personal tax obligation arising from rewards is the Member's responsibility.
21. Privacy. We use your contact info only to run the program — progress updates, reward notices, and bookings. We never sell it.
22. Governing law. The program is operated by Hollywood Sunrise LLC, Hollywood, Florida, under Florida law, and is void where prohibited.
